Magic (left) and
Sky (right) |
Miss Fancy Fols ~ proud mama
with her young twins Magic, the flashy colt and Sky, the
feisty filly. Weaned at seven months, they adapted extremely
well with their corral buddies. Sky later joined her mom and
they would run in the arena like fluid mirror images…it was
breathtaking. |

Baby Sky |
Baby Sky was absolutely adorable. Since she was the youngest and
smallest of the herd she got picked on and had to fight her
way up the pecking order. Many times I found her covered
with war wounds. However, I did find out who the instigator was!
She always greeted me when I drove up, making sure not to let the
other lil horsies get any of my attention…she’s exactly the same
way today! |

Taking a Bow |
Yeah right. That’s Sky getting ready to buck around the
arena. Perhaps she’s mad because the California sun bleached
the final layer of her winter coat. The older she gets ~ the
blacker she is. |

Struttin Her Stuff |
Sky was always running around showing off. She would flip
her tail up, prance and demand attention. She loved to meet
and greet my friends (and her horse buddies) as they stopped
by the arena. That diva trait continues on today. |

See Sky Shine |
Sky is an extremely healthy horse and it shows! Veggie oil
in the summer, corn oil in the winter on her grass hay
pellets helps in many ways. Flax seed does the trick, too,
but I found it also added more energy than needed for Ms
Feisty! |

GO BABY GO |
Sky loves to run! It must be in her blood, huh? She’s going
to produce some powerful, notable 2 yrs olds of her own
someday. Look for them on the track! |
